Final Results
MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team finished third at the Dragon Invite, which concluded on Saturday at the Hulbert Aquatic Center in West Fargo, N.D.
Northern State won the meet with 992 points while MSUM finished with 665.
"It was great to see so many people step up and how the team came together," MSUM head coach Charlie King said. "We couldn't be more proud of how this team has dealt with adversity."
Freshman Vasilina Shipilova had an excellent weekend with three individual wins and was also part of two winning relays. Shipilova won the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.14 and added a win in the 200 IM in 2:13.75 during Saturday's competition. Shipilova was second in the 50 breaststroke in 32.56.
MSUM's 400 free 'A' relay won in 3:46.59 with senior Lexie Bray, Carlisle, Shipilova and freshman Lily Lengerich teaming up for that time.
Bray was second in the 100 back in 1:01.26 with Carlisle third in 1:01.63. Bray added a fifth in the 100 free in 56.85. Carlisle was second in the 50 back with a personal-best of 29.03 with senior Kate MacGregor was fifth in 29.83.
Carlisle was third in the 50 free in 25.59 while Bray was fourth in 25.72. Carlisle had personal-bests in the 50 and 100 breaststroke as part of relays.
Freshman Kaylie Stucke was fifth in the 200 free in 2:07.05 while freshman Julia Solberg was fifth in the 1,000 free in 11:45.33
MSUM's 400 medley 'A' relay was second in 4:13.55 with Bray, Carlisle, Shipilova and Lengerich also part of that relay. MSUM's 800 free 'A' relay was second in 8:27.70 with Bray, Carlisle, Shipilova and Stucke putting together that time and finish.
MSUM hosts Concordia College at 6 p.m. on Friday for Senior Day.
