The Minnesota State University Moorhead men's basketball team starts a stretch of four consecutive road games this week. MSUM plays at Minnesota State Mankato on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and then follows with a contest at Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. to cap off the weekend.
It will be the Dragons' first meetings against the two teams since the 2019-20 season. MSUM trails the all-time series with Minnesota State 66-35 while leading the all-time series with CSP 20-12. Masks will be required for fans attending the Concordia-St. Paul game.
The Dragons are 10-9 on the season and 5-5 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference after defeating Winona State, 74-58 and falling to No. 13 ranked Upper Iowa, 66-63 last week.
Junior guard Gavin Baumgartner leads the team in points per game with 12.6, followed by junior guard Lorenzo McGhee with 11.1 points per game.
Baumgartner also leads the team in assists per game with 3.2. Sophomore forward Dane Zimmer leads the team in rebounds per game with 7.5.
Chad Walthall is in his 12th season as head coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

The Mavericks are 10-6 on the season and 4-6 in the NSIC after losing to Minot State and UMary last week. Sophomore Quincy Anderson leads the team in points per game with 16.9, followed by Freshman Brady Williams with 12.7 points per game. Junior Kelby Kramer leads the team in rebounds per game with 6.9. Sophomore Malik Willingham leads the team in assists per game with 2.3. Matt Margenthaler is in his 20th season as head coach at Minnesota State Mankato.

The Golden Bears are 2-18 on the season and 1-12 in the NSIC after losing to UMary and Minot State last week. Freshman Elijah Ormiston leads the team in points per game with 16.1, followed by Freshman Marcus Skeete with 13.5 points per game. Marcus Skeete also leads the team in assists per game with 3.5. Elijah Ormiston also leads the team in rebounds per game with 6.9. Matt Fletcher is in his second season as head coach at Concordia St. Paul.
