MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The Minnesota State University Moorhead swimming and diving team travels to compete against Minnesota State Mankato this Saturday for the last meet of the regular season. The meet begins at 1 p.m. in Mankato.
It will the final competition for MSUM before the NSIC Championships next month.
The Dragons are 3-1 in duals on the season after dominating Concordia-Moorhead last week. Senior Lexie Bray won the 50 backstroke in 28.64 and won the 100 backstroke in 1:01.94. Senior
Katelin Winter won the 50 breaststroke in 33.13 and won in the 100 fly in 1:02.60. Freshman
Danielle Heckaman won the 1,000 free in 11:44.21 and won 500 free in 5:46.02.
Freshman Vasilina Shipilova won the 50 butterfly in 27.39 and won the 100 IM in 1:01.99. Freshman
Lily Lengerich won the 200 free in 2:12.95 while sophomore
Kaytlyn Salter won the 50 free in 26.85. Freshman
Demi-Lee Carlisle won the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.41.
Charlie King is in his fourth season as head coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

The Mavericks are 6-1 in duals on the regular season after taking over a month-long break from competition. Their last action was the Augustana Invitational on Nov. 18, 2021. Senior Anja Enervold took third place in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:03.93. Sophomore Elise Mishmash also took third place in the 100 freestyle with a time of 52.35. Nathan Owens is in his 18th season as head coach at Minnesota State University Mankato.
