MSUM volleyball hits the road this weekend first to Marshall, MN to compete against Southwest Minnesota State University at 6pm on Friday, and then travel south to Sioux Falls, SD to compete against the University of Sioux Falls at 2pm on Saturday.

The Dragons are 5-14 on the season and 2-9 against NSIC opponents after falling to Augustana University and #1 Wayne State College last weekend. Junior Bridget Witzmann leads the team in kills with 211. Freshman Emily Shalicky leads the team in assists with 449. Junior Tori Thompson and Senior Elise Bakke lead the team in blocks with 42 apiece. 

About SMSU
The Mustangs are 17-2 on the season and 9-2 against NSIC opponents after defeating Minot State and UMary last weekend. Sophomore Saari Kuehl leads the team in kills with 204, followed by Sophomore Emma Vanheel with 190. Senior Alisa Bengen leads the team in assists with 746. Tyler Boddy is in his first season as head coach at Southwest Minnesota State University.

About Sioux Falls
The Cougars are 11-7 on the season and 7-4 against NSIC opponents after defeating UMary and Minot State last weekend. Freshman Courtney Holsteen leads the team in kills with 187, followed by Sophomore Grace Hanel with 170. Freshman Elise Gillen leads the team in assists with 421. Dan Mathews is in his second season as head coach at the University of Sioux Falls.
