JAMESTOWN, N.D. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead men's cross country team finished third at the Jimmie Invite hosted by the University of Jamestown on Friday in Jamestown, N.D. Freshman Brooke Baumann and sophomore Payton Lane had top 10 finishes to lead the MSUM women.
Junior Braxton Bruer was MSUM's top finisher, taking 11th in 8K with a time of 26:14.9. Colin O'Farrell was 14th in 26:49.1 while junior Adnew Stueven was 15th in 26:51.6.
Sophomore Carson Hespe was 21st in 27:17.6 with freshman Joel Brault taking 22nd in 27:20.9. Freshman James Dorado was 23rd in 27:31.9 while freshman Lane Dullum was 38th in 28:55.0.
The Dragon women were led by Baumann, who finished seventh in 18:53.0, and Lane, who was eighth in 18:57.6.
Freshman Kaelyn Berg finished in 18th in 19:33.0 while freshman Hailey Juarez was 59th in 23:08.0.
MSUM's next action is at the UMary/Bismarck State Invite on Oct. 21.
