MOORHEAD, Minn. – The MSUM men's basketball program has announced the signing of Adam Jenkins and Tysen Gerads to their 2023 class. Both student-athletes will begin competition at MSUM in the 2023-24 season.
Meet The Signees
Adam Jenkins (6-foot-9, forward – Moorhead, Minn. – Moorhead High School) – Averaged 15.3 points as a junior in 2021-22 to go along with 8.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per contest. Is currently on Moorhead High's all-time blocks and rebounds list. Was named to the All-Section and All-State teams last season while helping Moorhead to a section title as team captain. Plans to major in exercise science.
Tysen Gerads (6-foot-4, guard – Avon, Minn. – Albany High School) – Averaged 16.5 points per game as junior at Albany High School with a career high of 33 points in a game. Named First Team All-Conference and to the All-Section team last season. Was named the Granite Ridge Conference Offensive Player of the Year. Has played for the MN Coments AAU program for seven years. Plans to major in finance.
