RESULTS
MOORHEAD, Minn. -- MSUM swimming picked up a pair of dual wins this afternoon inside Nemzek pool. The Dragons defeated Concordia-St. Paul 103-83 and the University of Jamestown 126-89.
Arina Bratamidjaja took first place honors in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:39.9, a near eight seconds better than the second place finisher. The Dragons dominated the 50-yard freestyle as
Lily Lengerich,
Lacie Stark and
Molly Lenmark took the top three places respectively. Lengerich won with a time of 25.81.
In the 100-yard backstroke,
Demi-Lee Carlisle won the event with a time of 1:00.35, over a second ahead of the second place finisher.
Madelynn Johnson once again took home the win in the 100-yard backstroke. Her 1:08.71 time was three second better than her next-best counterpart.Â
MSUM also dominated the relays today, winning both the 400-yard freestyle relay and the 200-yard medley relay. The Dragons came in with a time of 3:51.76 in the 400-yard and a 1:50.47 in the 200-yard medley. The University of Jamestown's 200-yard medley relay team came in nearly six seconds behind the Dragons.
The Dragons have some time off before competing again at the annual Rochester Invite. That meet will take place December 2 through December 4 in Rochester, Minn.
