MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The MSUM women's basketball team will host Bemidji State at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Minnesota Crookston at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 10.
The Dragons are 4-3 on the regular season and 1-2 against NSIC opponents after defeating Minot State and falling to the University of Mary last weekend. Sophomore
Natalie Jens and junior
Mariah McKeever lead the team in points per game with 15 apiece. McKeever also leads the team in rebounds per game with 7. Jens also leads the team in assists per game with 3.4.
The Dragons defeated Minot State on Thursday of last week, 57-33. The 33 points scored by the Beavers were the second-fewest points allowed by a
Karla Nelson-led team. MSUM would compete with Mary, who scored 28 fourth quarter points to pull away from the Dragons in Bismarck. McKeever led the way with a season-high 25 points.
Karla Nelson is in her 23rd season as head coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Nelson sits at 389 career wins heading into this weekend's games.

The Beavers are 3-4 on the regular season and 0-3 against NSIC opponents after falling to both St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth last weekend. Fifth-year Trinity Yoder leads the team in points per game with 15.6. Sophomore Sam Pogatchnik leads the team in rebounds per game with 7.7. Yoder also leads the team in assists per game with 3.9. Chelsea Stoltenberg is in her eighth season as head coach at Bemidji State.

The Golden Eagles are 2-7 on the regular season and 1-2 against NSIC opponents after falling to both Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State last weekend. Freshman Emma Miller leads the team in points per game with 12.9. Senior Bren Fox leads the team in rebounds per game with 6.7. Miller also leads the team in assists per game with 3.7. Mike Roysland is in his seventeenth season as head coach at Minnesota Crookston.
