SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team finished fifth at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships, which concluded Saturday evening at the Midco Aquatic Center in Sioux Falls, S.D.
MSUM finished the four-day event with 262.5 points. Minnesota State-Mankato won with 1,079.5 points.
Winter finished fifth in the 100 IM in 59.31 for her fourth top six of the week. She swam a personal-best of 59.13 in the prelims. Winter's great week included the NSIC Championship in the 200 butterfly on Friday with a school record.
Senior
Lexie Bray qualified for the 'A' final of the 100 free with a personal-best of 51.99. She finished eighth after swimming a 52.36 in the finals.
Freshman
Vasilina Shipilova swam a personal-best of 2:25.96 in the 200 breaststroke prelims to qualify for the 'B' final. She was 10th overall after swimming 2:26.71 in the finals.
MSUM's 400 freestyle 'A' relay was seventh in 3:32.96. That consisted of Bray, freshman

Demi-Lee Carlisle and Winter.
Danielle Heckaman was 16th in the 1,650 free at 19:09.91. Freshman
Kseniia Gaidamukha qualified for the 'C' final in the 100 IM and took 20th in 1:02.80.
