SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 contest to Sioux Falls in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Friday night in Sioux Falls, S.D.
MSUM fell to 0-6 overall and 0-5 in the NSIC while Sioux Falls improved to 4-2 overall and 3-2 in the league.
USF swept all three doubles matches to earn the doubles team point.
MSUM won at No. 2 singles, as senior
Mikaela Griechen was leading Danielle Thorfinnson when she retired in the first set.
Dragon freshman
Tia Dykema picked up a three-set win at No. 4 singles, topping Emily Thinnsen 6-0, 3-6, 6-4. Freshman
Greta Reichmann lost a tough three-set loss at No. 6 singles.
MSUM will face Augustana at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
