MANKATO, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead wrestling team fell at No. 17 Minnesota State-Mankato, 41-6 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Friday night in Mankato, Minn.
The Mavericks recorded bonus points at seven weight classes, including three pins, on their way to the win.

Clayson Mele won by forfeit at 125 to account for the Dragons' points.
Junior
Steven Abbott battled tough against Dylan Butts at 197 before falling by a 5-2 decision. At 157, freshman
Jacob Thomas also hung around at 157 before falling to MSU's Cooper Siebrecht, 5-2.
MSUM is at Upper Iowa for a 4 p.m. dual on Saturday.
