BURNSVILLE — Junior wide receiver Ryan Bieberdorf and sophomore linebacker Josiah Behm have been named as Minnesota State University Moorhead Players to Watch in the preseason Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Coaches Poll released on Wednesday.
The Dragons were picked to finish ninth overall in the league and tied for fourth in the NSIC North with UMary.
Bieberdorf was second on the team with 59 catches for 696 yards and seven touchdowns last season. He had three 100-yard receiving games. In two seasons as a starter Bieberdorf has 103 career receptions.
Behm was an All-NSIC North Second Team honoree in 2021 after leading the team with 86 tackles last season. He had three interceptions as well. Behm had a career-high 15 tackles at Bemidji State.
MSUM holds its first practice on Monday and will open the 2022 season on Sept. 1 at home against Sioux Falls.
