The Minnesota State University Moorhead volleyball team will face a pair of top-10 ranked teams on the road this week in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play.

The Dragons will travel to face No. 10 Minnesota Duluth at 6 p.m. on Friday and No. 6 St, Cloud State at 2 p.m. on Saturday for their first conference road matches.

MSUM's last win against Minnesota Duluth came at home in 2017 while the Dragons' last victory vs. St. Cloud State came in 2018 on the road

The Dragons are 5-5 on the season and 2-0 in the NSIC after defeating Minnesota Crookston and Bemidji State at home last weekend.

Junior outside hitter Bridget Witzmann leads the team in kills with 129, followed by sophomore outside hitter Jadyn Feist with 84. Freshman setter Emily Skalicky leads the team in assists with 261. Senior middle blocker Elise Bakke leads the team in blocks with 29 followed by junior middle blocker Tori Thompson with 27. Junior defensive specialist Brooke Walthall has 151 digs while freshman defensive specialist Macie Wieman has 108.

Bob Jones is in his second season as head coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

The Bulldogs are 10-0 on the season and 2-0 in the NSIC after defeating Minot State and UMary University last weekend. Graduate student Sydney Lanoue leads the team in kills with 118, followed by junior Cianna Slbitschka with 107. Senior Madison Gordon leads the team in assists with 419. Junior Grace Daak leads the team in blocks with 40. Jim Boos is in his 20th season as head coach at Minnesota Duluth.

About St. Cloud State

The Huskies are 10-0 on the season and 2-0 in the NSIC after defeating UMary University and Minot State last weekend. Junior Kenzie Foley leads the team in kills with 138. Freshman Emma Berran leads the team in assists with 313. Senior Phebie Rossi leads the team with 36 blocks, followed by Freshman Sam Zimmerman with 27. Chad Braegelmann is in his seventh season as head coach at St. Cloud State University.
