St. PAUL — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team fell to Concordia-St. Paul, 4-1 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Sunday in St. Paul, Minn.
MSUM was down 1-0 after a goal from Katie Anderson at the 4:35 mark but answered with a goal from freshman forward Jensen Seidel to tie the game at 1-1. Freshman Lilly Johnson provided the assist for the Dragons. Seidel now has a team-best three goals on the season.
CSP would score another goal late in the half to take a 2-1 lead and added two second-half goals to make the final count 4-1.
The Golden Bears outshot the Dragons 27-5.
Junior goalkeeper Simone Lewald had six saves for the Dragons.
MSUM opens a four-game homestand next week with a pair of games, starting on Friday against UMary.
