MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The Minnesota State University Moorhead men's basketball team will travel to Marshall, Minn., for a matchup against the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, then travel to Sioux Falls, S.D. for a matchup against the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday this weekend. 
            
The Dragons are 13-3 on the regular season and 8-2 against NSIC opponents after falling to Northern State on Tuesday night. MSUM defeated Wayne State and Augustana last weekend to go 2-1 over a five day stretch. Sophomore Jacob Beeninga leads the team in points per game with 15.9. Junior Dane Zimmer leads the team in rebounds per game with 7.7. Senior Gavin Baumgartner leads the team in total assists with 55. Beeninga leads the Dragons with 26 steals.
            
Tim Bergstraser is in his first season as head coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

The Mustangs are 10-5 on the regular season and 6-4 against NSIC opponents after defeating Minot State and falling to the University of Mary last weekend. Sophomore Dunwa Omot leads the team in points per game with 15.1. Junior Jake Phipps leads the team in rebounds per game with 6.8. Junior Cliff McCray leads the team in assists per game with 3.3. Brad Bigler is in his fourteenth season as head coach at Southwest Minnesota State University. 

About Sioux Falls University 
            
The Cougars are 12-4 on the regular season and 7-3 against NSIC opponents after defeating Minot State and the University of Mary last weekend. Graduate Student Matt Cartwright leads the team in points per game with 21.9. Redshirt senior Chase Grinde leads the team in rebounds per game with 6.2. Cartwright also leads the team in steals per game with 1.1. Chris Johnson is in his fifteenth season as head coach at Sioux Falls.
