Preview: Dragons Host Eighth Street Neighbors Concordia on Saturday

MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The MSU Moorhead swimming and diving team will compete against Concordia College inside Nemzek Pool at 3 p.m. on Saturday. 
           
The Dragons are 2-9 on the dual season after defeating the University of Jamestown in November. That was the the last dual MSUM competed in with a pair of invitationals in the interim. The Dragons finished in fourth place at the Dragon Invite last weekend. Freshman Lacie Stark won the 50-yard backstroke. Freshman Madelynn Johnson won the 200-yard breaststroke. Demi-Lee Carlisle, Linnea Edgren, Taylor Cook and Lily Lengerich placed third in the 800m freestyle relay. Carlisle, Edgren, Cook and Johnson also placed third in the 400-yard medley relay.

The Cobbers are 1-2 in dual meets this season with losses to Minnesota Morris and Saint Benedict. Concordia has a dual win over Hamline which occurred on November 5. The Cobbers have also competed in the Macalester Invite where they finished ninth as a team.
