MOORHEAD, Minn. -- MSU Moorhead's swimming and diving team dropped their final dual of the regular season to Minnesota State Mankato. The Mavs bested the Dragons 192-62 inside Nemzek Pool.
Madelynn Johnson won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:10.52, winning by over two seconds. Fellow Dragon
Linnea Edgren placed second in the event with a time of 1:12.88. Johnson also took home runner-up honors in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:32.51.Â
Isabelle Johnson won 1-meter diving with a total score of 201, a personal best through two meets for the freshman.Â
MSUM placed fourth in the 200-yard medley relay. The team of
Lacie Stark,
Demi-Lee Carlisle, Johnson and Edgren swam a 1:54.49 in the event. In the 200-yard freestyle relay, the Dragons finished second as the team of
Lily Lengerich,
Taylor Cook, Edgren and Carlisle swam a 1:43.58 in the event.
Carlisle would finish second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 56.66 with Lengerich finishing fourth in the same event with a time of 57.25. Carlisle would also place fourth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.58.Â

The Dragons will now prepare for the NSIC Swimming & Diving Championships. MSUM will host the event inside Hulbert Aquatic Center in West Fargo, N.D. beginning on February 8
