MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The MSU Moorhead women's basketball team will host Concordia-St. Paul at 6 p.m. on Wednesday as part of the first round of the NSIC Women's Basketball Conference Tournament.
The Dragons finished the regular season at 14-12 and 11-11 against NSIC opponents after falling to Minot State and defeating the University of Mary last weekend. With their win over the Marauders, the Dragons secured a first-round home game as they feature a better conference record compared to Concordia-St. Paul.

Mariah McKeever leads the team in points per game with 15.3. McKeever also leads the Dragons in steals per game with 1.6. Senior
Peyton Boom leads the team in rebounds per game with 8. Sophomore
Natalie Jens leads the team in assists per game with 3.4.
Karla Nelson is in her 23rd season as head coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead. She enters Wednesday's contest with 399 career wins.

The Golden Bears finished the regular season at 13-13 and 10-12 against NSIC opponents after defeating Upper Iowa and falling to Winona State last weekend. Junior Ally Gietzel leads the team in points per game with 15. Gietzel also leads the Golden Bears in rebounds per game with 7.7 and assists per game with 2.3. Amanda Johnson is in her eighth season as head coach at Concordia St. Paul.
