MOORHEAD, Minn. -- MSU Moorhead tennis will travel east to Virginia, Minn., for a trio of matches on Saturday and Sunday. The Dragons take on St. Cloud State and Gustavus Adolphus on Saturday before having a match with Minnesota Duluth on Sunday.
The Saturday matches with the Huskies and Golden Gusties will take place at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. respectively from Virginia. MSUM will play the Bulldogs at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The Dragons opened their season with a win over Concordia College, 7-0, on Friday of last week. MSUM would then travel to Bismarck, N.D., where they fell to the University of Mary, 5-2.

Tiannah Gu against Concordia last week.
Claire Nemmers is also off to a fabulous start for the Dragons. The true freshman has won both singles matches she's played this season. Nemmers and
Marissa Burian also took home a doubles win against the Marauders on Sunday.
MSUM swept Concordia on Friday thanks to six singles wins. The only loss came in doubles play, but the Dragons were still able to win the other two doubles matches to pick up the team point.
St. Cloud State is currently 1-1 in matches this season with a win over Minnesota Crookston, 6-1, on February 3. The Huskies fell to Minnesota Duluth on February 11, 5-2. Gustavus Adolphus is 1-3 to begin their year with their lone win coming against Saint Mary's, 9-0. The Golden Gusties have losses to UW-Milwaukee and the NSIC's Sioux Falls and Minnesota State Mankato. Duluth is a perfect 4-0 this season with wins over Bemidji State, Bethel, St. Cloud State and St. Scholastica.
