MANDAN, N.D. – MSU Moorhead continued NSIC play on Sunday evening as the Dragons fell to Augustana 7-0 inside the Mandan Tennis Center.
The Dragons were swept in both singles and doubles play by a game Vikings team that moved their overall record to 10-2 this season. MSUM fell to 5-6 with the loss.
Augie would run through doubles play, shutting out MSUM outside of the number-one doubles bout between Florentia Hadjigeorgiou and Aleksandra Kistanova against
Madison Bell and
Tiannah Gu (6-1). Gu would attempt a rally against Senem Ocal in number-two singles, but would eventually fall 6-2, 6-1 to the Augie freshman. The Vikings took number-one singles thanks to junior Florentia Hadjigeorgiou, who bested MSUM's
Shaelyn Johnson 6-0, 6-2.
