MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Seventh-ranked MSU Moorhead men's basketball completely bombarded visiting Northern State on Thursday evening in MSUM's first NSIC contest of 2024-25. The Dragons used their size and athleticism to stifle the Wolves, 80-50.

- A 10-0 run from the Dragons midway through the first half gave MSUM a 14-point lead, 21-7.
- Hastreiter buried his second triple of the half in the flurry as Levi Birkholz would net a triple of his own on the next Dragon possession.
- MSUM would hold a lead as large as 20 points in the first half after a pair of free throws from Jacob Beeninga, his first points of the contest.

- A monstrous tip-in slam from Jennissen would put the Dragon lead into the 30s, leading 71-40 with five minutes to play.
