BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- MSU Moorhead junior guard Natalie Jens and sophomore forward Terryn Johnson have been named to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference's all-league team for 2023-24. Jens was tabbed as a First Team performer with Johnson landing on the Second Team. 

Jens, a junior from Beaver Dam, Wis., was a true Swiss Army knife for the Dragons in 2023-24, averaging a team-best 14.6 points per game. The junior also collected career highs in assists per game (3.9) and total steals (57) while averaging 4.2 rebounds per game. Jens shot 36 percent from the floor for the season with a 36.2 percent mark in conference play alone. She bolstered the 10th-best scoring average in NSIC play this season (14.9) as well. Her 50 steals in conference play was also the fifth-highest mark in the NSIC. Jens had five NSIC games where she scored 20 or more points and scored in double figures in all but eight games throughout the year. She was named the NSIC's Player of the Week on February 19 and had a season-high 29 points against Augustana on January 5.

Johnson, a sophomore from Kindred, N.D., established herself as one of the best rebounders in the conference this season. The sophomore averaged 9.9 points and a team-best eight rebounds a game for the Dragons. Her rebounds per game mark was the third-best in the conference this season, both overall and in conference play specifically. Her 73 offensive rebounds during the regular season was an NSIC high in 2023-24. Johnson was also efficient with her shot attempts throughout the year, clipping a 48.9 percent mark for the year and a 50.9 percent success rate in NSIC games. Johnson had seven double-doubles during the year, headlined by her 13-point, 20-rebound performance against Minnesota Crookston on January 30. She became just the ninth player in program history to register a game of 20 rebounds or more in the process.
