MOORHEAD, Minn. -- MSU Moorhead men's basketball enjoyed another overtime contest on Saturday night. This time around, visiting Wayne State College knocked off the Dragons, 73-68.

- MSUM would come out of the gates blazing on a 13-2 run, led by three-pointers from Carson Johnson, Logan Kinsey and Sam Hastreiter.
- Midway through the first half, MSUM would lead by 10 as Jacob Jennissen led the Dragons with six points.
- The Dragons would be up by 11 after another three from Hastreiter, before Wayne State made a run to close the half.
- The Wildcats would bring the score to within three points at the break, 29-26.
- MSUM held Wayne State to 33.3 percent shooting in the first 20 minutes.
- The Dragons would regain a six-point lead to start the second half, eventually leading by seven points after a three from Shaun Wysocki.
- Wayne State would rally behind an 9-0 run to lead 46-44 with just under eight minutes to play.
- From there, the teams would trade punches with MSUM regaining a one-point lead with five minutes to go.
- The Wildcats would lead by five points with 90 seconds to play before Kinsey netted a triple.
- Hastreiter scored with 17 seconds remaining to tie the contest, sending it to overtime.
- Wayne State would race out to a quick four-point lead in overtime as the Dragons would be unable to regain control of the scoreboard.
- MSUM would come to within one point, but the Wildcats converted on free throws down the stretch to seal the game.
- The Wildcats won 73-68 as Kinsey led MSUM with 19 points on 60 percent shooting.
