MOORHEAD, Minn. -- MSU Moorhead swimming & diving will wrap up the 2024-25 regular season this weekend with a pair of meets. The Dragon divers will compete at the St. Cloud State Diving Invite on Saturday at 11 a.m. while MSUM's swimmers host Minnesota State in dual action at 1Â p.m.
Live video of both meets will be available at msumdragons.com. The last time MSUM competed was last Friday when they defeated Concordia College, 167-52.Â
Isabelle Johnson would look strong in diving events again on Friday, winning both 1-meter and 3-meter diving. Johnson scored a 239.90 in 1-meter and 260.40 in 3-meter for the pair of wins.Â
Zoe Bjerke (231.60) would finish runner-up in 1-meter as well as 3-meter with a score of 232.65.Â
Ruth Guy would place third in 1-meter action with an overall score of 204.05.Â

Distance swimming saw Mayo win the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:41.42 while Cook finished runner-up with a time of 12:04.44. Cook would win the 500-yard freestyle behind a time of 5:38.42 with Jackson not far behind in second (5:39.07).
In the 200-yard freestyle, Carlisle would win the event with a time of 2:05.13 with Jackson claiming runner-up again, touching the wall at 2:10.05. Carlisle would also win the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.39) as Verke placed runner-up with a 1:02.29 finishing time.Â
Moore would win the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.44 with Phillips earning a runner-up mark at 26 seconds flat. Moore would also win the 100-yard freestyle behind a time of 54:86. Leon would claim a victory in the 100-yard fly with a solid 58.57 time. Pavelski would win the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:16.35.Â
Urick would win the 200-yard IM with a winning time of 2:16.35 with Edgren clocked a 2:25.20 to place third in the same event. The freshman Urick also won the 100-yard breaststroke, clocking a 1:11.93 with Edgren placing runner-up (1:14.06).Â
