MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Minnesota State Moorhead swimming & diving will look for its third consecutive dual victory on Friday in a road bout with Sioux Falls. The Dragons and Coo are set to battle inside Midco Aquatic Center at 4 p.m.

Being Bjerke...Junior diver
Zoe Bjerke was a standout for Moorhead in the dual victory over Northern State, winning both 1 and 3-meter competition. Bjerke won the 1-meter event with an overall score of 232.40. However, Bjerke was extremely impressive on the high dive, marking a six-dive score of 244.40, which is now the third-best dual score in program history.Â
Margaret, Maggie For Short...Junior
Maggie Moore continued her winning ways against the Wolves, claiming victory in both the 100-yard and 200-yard freestyle races. Moore clocked a 55.10 time in the 100-yard installment to earn her third individual victory of the season. The Mesa, Ariz., native would win the 200-yard freestyle by nearly six seconds, touching the wall at 1:59.24. Moore was also a member of the Dragon 400-yard freestyle relay team that earned a victory behind a collective time of 3:43.94.Â
Leon's Lift...Sophomore
Fernanda Leon would claim another convincing win for the Dragons against Northern State. The Lima, Peru, native won the 200-yard butterfly with a mark of 2:08.73, winning by over 20 full seconds. The time for Leon is only a pair of seconds off her personal best which also stands as the second-fastest time in program history.Â
She's Versatile...Freshman
Anika Grunenwald would showcase her versatility in the win over Northern State. Grunenwald grabbed a win in the 500-yard freestyle, her second victory in the event this season. The Williston, N.D., native finished the race with a time of 5:36.20. Grunenwald also earned runner-up placement in the 200-yard freestyle, clocking a 2:05.04.Â
She's The Baum...Sophomore
Tresa Baumgard showed her prowess for short sprint races last week against Northern State. Baumgard claimed victory in the 50-yard freestyle behind a time of 25.64. Baumgard would also finish third in the 100-yard freestyle against the Wolves with a time of 57.46
