MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Minnesota State Moorhead swimming & diving is set for a busy week of competition with three duals on the docket. The Dragons compete in a road triangular with Southwest Minnesota State and Jamestown on Tuesday at noon before hosting Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Honors Course...Sophomore
Fernanda Leon was named the NSIC Swimmer of the Week following her performance against Sioux Falls on October 24. Leon won the 200-yard butterfly behind a time of 2:08.03. The Lima, Peru, native allso claimed victory in the 100-yard butterfly, touching the wall at 59.43. She would earn her final victory in the 200-yard IM, marking a time of 2:11.24.
Bjerke Finding Her Groove...Against Sioux Falls on October 24, junior diver
Zoe Bjerke earned two more wins on the board. Bjerke won the 1-meter competition with an overall score of 221.40. The Valley City, N.D., native would also win the 3-meter dive with a six-dive mark of 254.40, improving on the third-best score in program history. Bjerke was named MSUM's Student-Athlete of the Month for her October performances.Â
Just Jackson...Junior
Kelsey Jackson continued to showcase her ability in backstroke events for the Dragons against Sioux Falls. Jackson would earn a pair of backstroke wins for the Dragons, winning the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.81. In the 200-yard backstroke, the Canton, Ga., native marked a 2:10.56 for the event win.
Maggie Is Quite Fast...JuniorÂ
Maggie Moore continues to post impressive times and finishes for the Dragons this season. Moore would win the 50-yard freestyle for the Dragons against Sioux Falls with a time of 24.59. The Mesa, Ariz., native would also have a pair of runner-up finishes in the 200-yard and 100-yard freestyles. The junior paced a 1:56.54 for the placement in the 200-yard with the time just over a second off her personal best. Moore marked a 53.59 in the 100-yard installment, just .06 off her personal record.
Accept This Rose...Sophomore
Rose Urick leads the Dragons in breaststroke competition. Urick would claim victory in the 200-yard breaststroke on October 24 with a strong showing of 2:29.49. Urick would place runner-up in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:08.99
