MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Minnesota State Moorhead volleyball is set to wrap up the 2025 regular season this weekend in a pair of home matches. The Dragons take on #23 Minnesota State on Friday at 6 p.m. before facing off with #11 St. Cloud State on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Live video and stats will be available at msumdragons.com. Moorhead is coming off a 1-2 week which saw them defeat Minot State in non-conference action last Tuesday. 

Double-Double Martini...Junior outside hitter Maci Martini logged another double-double last Tuesday against Minot State. Martini tallied 10 kills and 10 digs behind a .200 hitting percentage. So far this season, Martini has logged seven double-doubles for the Dragons. 

The 500 Club...Junior setter Madi Colby eclipsed the 500 set assist clip this past weekend, accumulating 49 over MSUM's three matches last week. Colby has had 14 performances with 20 or more assists this season, including a career high 32 against Jamestown on October 3. 

Almost There...Junior outside hitter Raiah Mandell leads the Dragons this season with 281 kills, just 19 off the 300 mark for the season. Mandell has totaled 439 career kills for the Dragons entering the final weekend of the regular season. 

Big-Time Blocker....Sophomore middle blocker Leah Laqua has guided the Dragon defense all season, earning a team-high 52 total blocks. In addition to her block total, Laqua has 120 kills at an effective .292 attack percentage. Laqua has had two performances this season with six total blocks, a new career high.

Five Seniors Honored...Moorhead will honor five seniors in the final home contest against St. Cloud State on Saturday. Emily McPhee, Emily Skalicky, Jocelin Feutz, Jadyn Feist and Amanda Lisi will all be honored prior to first serve. 

Kari Thompson is in her third season as MSUM's head volleyball coach.
