BURNSVILLE, Minn. – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) announced the annual all-conference selections for football on Wednesday afternoon. Minnesota State Moorhead had a total of nine student-athletes honored as All-NSIC North Division while senior quarterback
Jack Strand was named the NSIC Offensive Player of the Year.

Tate Gustafson were all named All-NSIC North Division First Team. Defensive linemen

Jack Johnson were named Second Team all-conference.
NSIC Offensive Player of the Year - All-NSIC North First Team
The senior quarterback adds another accolade to his already impressive collection. With the Player of the Year nod, Strand becomes the first player in MSUM football history to be a multi-time NSIC Player of the Year. Strand also added his fourth consecutive All-NSIC bid, including his third trip to the First Team. The Bloomer, Wis., native was nothing short of magical in his senior season. Strand led the NSIC in passing (3,546) and total (3,834) yardage throughout the season, accounting for 47 total touchdowns.
Strand set the MSUM single-season record with 42 passing touchdowns in 2025. The senior reset NSIC career records in pass completions (1,147), passing yards (12,134) and passing touchdowns (115) during the 2025 campaign. Strand was named the NSIC Offensive Player of the Week three times and bolstered seven games with 300 or more pass yards. He would tie the NSIC single-game record for passing touchdowns on November 1 against Bemidji State, slinging seven scores. Strand ranks 10
th all-time in NCAA Division II history in passing yardage, throwing for 13,161 yards in 42 career games.
All-NSIC North First Team
Florence also makes his fourth straight appearance on the All-NSIC team and his second as a First Team honoree. The Sawyer, N.D., made 105 catches this season, a mark that led the NSIC and the NCAA. Florence set a career-high in receiving yardage, tallying 1,002 yards, including a career-best 12 touchdown receptions. Per game, Florence averaged 9.5 catches per game, with a season-best 12 receptions against Bemidji State on November 1. Florence will be etched in NCAA Division II history forever as he reset the career record for receptions with 402. He also owns the NSIC record for career receptions.
All-NSIC North First Team
Perryman makes his third consecutive All-NSIC team this season with 2025 being his second straight year named to the First Team. The Cottage Grove, Minn., native had a nose for the endzone again in 2025, catching 13 touchdown receptions. Perryman also set a career-high in receiving yardage with 855 in 2025, averaging a whopping 16.4 yards per reception. The senior had four showings with two or more receiving touchdowns, including a pair of games with three scores. Perryman concluded his Dragon career as the program's all-time leader in receiving touchdowns, having caught 39 in his career.
All-NSIC North First Team
Wilson blossomed into one of the top tackles in the Northern Sun during his sophomore campaign. The Plymouth, Minn., native played and started in all 11 games for the Dragons and was a key cog in the Moorhead offense. Thanks to his protection, MSUM tallied an average of 448.6 yards and 38.2 points per game. Moorhead averaged 332.5 yards per game through the air, but Wilson helped amplify a strong Dragon rush game. By season's end, MSUM had averaged 116.1 rush yards per game, led by a season-best 305 ground yards against Jamestown on November 8.
All-NSIC North First Team
The Jamestown, N.D., native turned in a resounding 2025 after missing all of the 2024 season due to a lower body injury. Kallenbach stepped back onto the field and did not miss a beat, totaling 46 total tackles, including 26 solo stops. His overall tackle total matched his career high. The redshirt junior also had 6.5 tackles for loss on the year to go along with three interceptions and a fumble recovery. Kallenbach also logged eight pass deflections throughout 2025. The safety had a standout contest against Southwest Minnesota State on September 6, picking off two passes with three total tackles.
All-NSIC North First Team
The string of stellar Dragon linebackers continued in 2025 with the senior Gustafson leading the charge alongside captain
Mitchell Jezierski. Gustafson made a team-high 92 tackles in 2025, including 52 solo takedowns. The West Fargo, N.D., native logged eight tackles for loss and had a sack during the season. Gustafson was also exceptional in pass coverage, tallying an interception and two pass breakups in 2025. He would have four games with 10 or more tackles including 14 against Northern Michigan on August 28. Gustafson made 11 total tackles, including 10 solo stops on October 4 against UMary.
All-NSIC North Second Team
Migrating from linebacker to defensive line, Beach was a true bright spot on the Dragon defense in 2025. By year's end, Beach made 29 total tackles, including 19 being credited at solo stalls. Beach was particularly pesky behind the line of scrimmage, totaling 5.5 tackles for loss and four sacks, which tied the team high. The Jamestown, N.D., native also managed a fumble recovery on October 29 against Northern State.
All-NSIC North Second Team
Dahl migrated all over the defensive line throughout the year and concluded his sophomore season with 42 total tackles, including 18 solo stops. The Farmington, Minn., native made three tackles for loss, including a sack. Dahl made a fumble recovery in 2025 and was consistently pressuring the quarterback, earning three hurries. Dahl made six total tackles in Moorhead's win over #14 Minnesota State on November 15.
All-NSIC North Second Team
Johnson filled a variety of roles for the Dragons throughout 2025, serving as a linebacker, safety and defensive back depending on the coverage. The numerous roles allowed the sophomore to fly all over the field, making 71 total tackles, including a staggering 50 solo takedowns. Johnson was tied for the team lead in tackles for loss with Gustafson as both players made eight stops behind the line of scrimmage. The Blaine, Minn., native had two sacks on the season while also forcing and recovering a fumble. Johnson was downright outstanding in pass coverage all season, leading the Dragons with 11 total pass breakups. On November 8 against Jamestown, Johnson made four pass breakups in a Dragon victory.
