MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Minnesota State Moorhead men's basketball embarks on the full conference slate this week in matchups with Bemidji State and Minnesota Duluth. The Dragons hit the road to battle the Beavers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday before hosting the Bulldogs on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

Saturday's game can also be listened to on AM 1100/FM 92.3 with 'Big Game' James McCarty and Jace Denman on the call.
Matchup History...The Dragons have continued to see success over the Beavers in recent meetings. Moorhead has won 12 of the last 14 matchups and 27 of 34 games since the 2008-09 season. MSUM enters Thursday's game having won the last four consecutively over Bemidji State. The Dragons and Bulldogs will renew their longtime, competitive series with Moorhead holding the most recent victory. MSUM defeated Minnesota Duluth 68-67 in Moorhead a season ago. Overall, Moorhead has won five of the last seven over the Bulldogs dating back to the 2021-22 season.
A Balanced Motive...Moorhead won its 10th straight game over Minnesota Crookston last Tuesday to open the NSIC season. The Dragons were balanced all evening against the Golden Eagles with six players scoring in double figures. MSUM also held a plus-18 advantage on the glass in the win.
A Double-Double If You Would...Post
Adam Jenkins earned his first career double-double in MSUM's victory over Minnesota Crookston on Tuesday. Jenkins scored 11 points to go along with 11 rebounds in the Dragon victory. The Moorhead native shot 62.5 percent from the floor while also draining his first career three-pointer.
Sammy Is Hoopin'...Senior forward
Sam Hastreiter has been a consistent factor in Moorhead's game plan so far this season. Hastreiter averaged 12.6 points and six rebounds last week across three games for Moorhead. In MSUM's overtime loss against Concordia-St. Paul, Hastreiter earned a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 66.7 percent from the floor.
Dom Fills It Up...Redshirt junior guard
Dominic Gooden was electric again last week for MSUM. Gooden averaged just over 19 points per game for Moorhead, while sinking a total of 10 three-pointers. In MSUM's 78-68 victory over Southwest Minnesota State, Gooden poured in 27 points. The Cleveland, Ohio, native scored 25 of his 27 points in the second half, connecting on 75 percent of his shot attempts in the final 20 minutes. So far this season, Gooden leads the Dragons with 20.3 points per game.
Isa Puts On...Freshman point guard
Isa El-Amin turned in three double figure scoring efforts for MSUM last week. El-Amin averaged 14.6 points per game, highlighted by 21 points against Concordia-St. Paul on Sunday evening. El-Amin has also been pesky on defense, totaling 14 steals over the three contests last week. The Minnetonka, Minn., native currently leads MSUM with 15 steals so far this season.
KB Is Everywhere!...Senior forward
Kabine Kaba has been a steady contributor on both sides of the ball for Moorhead. Kaba averaged 9.3 points and 4.6 rebounds for the Dragons last week. This included a 14-point effort against Concordia-St. Paul. Kaba and
Rodrick Payne lead the Dragons with six blocked shots each.
