Jack Strand and
Gage Florence were named to D2Football.com's Elite 100 Team on Monday morning. Strand earned First Team honors while Florence was named to the Second Team.
The Elite 100 is D2Football.com's version of an All-America team. Players are selected by staff members of D2Football.com with input from sitting head coaches as well as professional football scouting veteran Josh Buchanan. The team includes first and second team selections for offense, defense and special teams along with 25 "Squad" players for offense and defense. Squad players are equivalent to "honorable mention" selections in similar national recognition lists.

Strand has now earned D2Football.com, Don Hansen, D2CCA and AFCA All-America honors in 2025. This season, Strand became the first player in MSUM football history to be named D2CCA Region Player of the Year. The Bloomer, Wis., native was nothing short of magical in his senior season. Strand led the NSIC in passing (3,546) and total (3,834) yardage throughout the season, accounting for 47 total touchdowns to earn his second NSIC Offensive Player of the Year honor. Strand set the MSUM single-season record with 42 passing touchdowns in 2025. The senior reset NSIC career records in pass completions (1,147), passing yards (12,134) and passing touchdowns (115) during the 2025 campaign. Strand was named the NSIC Offensive Player of the Week three times and bolstered seven games with 300 or more pass yards. He would tie the NSIC single-game record for passing touchdowns on November 1Â against Bemidji State, slinging seven scores. Strand ranks 10
th all-time in NCAA Division II history in passing yardage, throwing for 13,161 yards in 42 career games.Â

Florence joins Strand in the quartet of All-America nods, collecting D2Football.com, Don Hansen, D2CCA and AFCA honors. Florence made his second trip to the D2CAA All-Region team in 2025 while also earning his third All-NSIC honor. The Sawyer, N.D., native made 105 catches this season, a mark that led the NSIC and the NCAA. Florence set a career-high in receiving yardage, tallying 1,002 yards, including a career-best 12 touchdown receptions. Per game, Florence averaged 9.5 catches per game, with a season-best 12 receptions against Bemidji State on November 1. Florence will be etched in NCAA Division II history forever as he reset the career record for receptions with 402. He also owns the NSICÂ and MSUM records for career receptions.
