MANDAN, N.D. -- MSU Moorhead tennis suffered an NSIC setback on Saturday evening. The Dragons fell to Minnesota State, 6-1. 

Minnesota State would claim the doubles point behind three straight wins in pair play. In singles action, Luzmary Diaz Castillo would get the Dragons on the board in the number two position. Castillo would defeat Minnesota State's Avery Stilwell in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3. Katryna Hansen would battle at number three singles, winning the first set over McKenna DeMarce, 6-4. However, DeMarce would claim the second set 6-0 before winning the final frame 6-3. 

Sophia Felderman would see a similar bout in number four singles, pushing Hana Minisy in the second set, but eventually falling 7-6 after a 7-1 tiebreaker. Tiannah Gu would go three sets with Elizabeth Felderman in the number five positon, falling in the first set (6-3) before rallying in the second (6-4). Ultimately, Gu would drop the final set 7-6 after a 7-0 tiebreaker.
