WINTER PARK, Fla. – MSU Moorhead tennis began its annual spring break trip in victory on Wednesday. The Dragons defeated North Park University, 6-1. 
 
MSUM opened the match by controlling doubles play as the team of Luzmary Diaz Castillo and Shaelyn Johnson collected their seventh win of the season. The pair topped Alexandra Ristfeldt and Emilia Sand, 6-1. 
 
Claire Nemmers and Katryna Hansen moved to 4-1 in pairs play after a 6-1 win over Ella Darrow and Alexandra Pugchova. The Dragons completed the doubles sweep after Sophia Felderman and Tiannah Gu won, 6-4. 
 
Singles action only continued to cement MSUM's dominance on the match as a whole. Diaz Castillo kicked things off with an impressive 6-1, 6-1 win over Carlberg. Johnson would also win at the number one position in straight sets (6-3, 6-2). Felderman would need three sets to claim her number four match. However, after dropping the second set to Sand, Felderman rallied to win the final set 1-0 via a 10-8 tiebreak. 
 
Gu and Nemmers would tie a bow on the Dragon victory, claiming straight set wins at the number five and six spots. Gu defeated Madeline Starr 6-1, 6-2 while Nemmers topped Thea Givfars, 6-4, 6-3.
