ORLANDO, Fla. – MSU Moorhead tennis dropped a pair of matches to conclude Spring Break play in Florida on Friday. 
Shaelyn Johnson and 
Luzmary Diaz Castillo extended their doubles streak to six for the Dragons. 
 
Grace College entered Friday's match being ranked 24
th in NAIA according to ITA. The Lancers proved that immediately by claiming the team doubles point with wins at the number two and three spots. However, 
Shaelyn Johnson and 
Luzmary Diaz Castillo would remain perfect in pairs play for the week. Johnson and Diaz Castillo defeated Jimena Ramirez and Alejandra Sandoval 7-6 thanks to a tiebreaker victory. Ramirez and Sandoval were ranked fourth in NAIA doubles per ITA.
 
From there, the Lancers would command singles, winning all six matches to claim the dual, 7-0.

The Dragons would again win the doubles point as Johnson and Diaz Castillo would extend their winning streak to six. The pair defeated Sasha Manojlovic and Giovanna Mendes, 6-2. Thanks to a 6-4 win from 
Katryna Hansen and 
Claire Nemmers at the number three spot, MSUM earned the team point. 
 
Carthage would narrowly claim singles action to win the vital four team points. 
Sophia Felderman would only need straight sets to defeat Mendes, winning 6-0, 6-1. 
Tiannah Gu would earn her 10
th singles win of the season at the number four spot, defeating Maddie Kearney, 6-1, 6-1. Hansen nearly clinched the dual for MSUM in a three-set battle with Sasha Manojlovic. The sophomore fell in the first set (6-1) before clinching a needed set two victory, 6-4. However, Manojlovic would narrowly win the third set by a 10-7 count.
