Midco Sports Plus will be the official streaming home of MSUM athletics with Steve d'Eustachio doing play-by-play and Chase Montplaisir on color commentary. Fans can also listen to the game live on AM 1100/FM 92.3 with 'Big Game' James McCarty and Jace Denman on the call. Moorhead is coming off a bye week after defeating UMary 42-22 on October 10.

Matchup History...Northern State claimed the most recent contest in this long-standing series. The Wolves defeated the Dragons in thrilling fashion, 49-48, a season ago in Aberdeen. Moorhead defeated the Wolves on September 30, 2023 inside Nemzek Stadium, 45-26. Northern State has won six of the last 10 meetings, but neither program has won three games consecutively in that span. The Wolves hold the all-time series record 35-26-1. The Dragons won the first-ever meeting between the two schools on September 6, 1919 in a 7-0 conquest. The teams played to a scoreless tie on September 4, 1931.

More Huebner Heat...For the second time in as many weeks, sophomore quarterback Drew Huebner was named the NSIC Offensive Player of the Week. Huebner completed 30 of 45 pass attempts for 332 yards and six touchdowns in the 42-22 win over UMary. The Morris, Minn., native led the Northern Sun with 367 yards of total offense. Huebner also became the third Dragon player to throw six or more touchdowns in a game.

Reign Of Terror...Sophomore linebacker Reign Battle has established himself as one of the most disruptive defenders in the NSIC this season. Against UMary on October 10, Battle made a team-high seven tackles, including four solo stops. Battle also had his second interception in as many games, flipping momentum in MSUM's favor. It is the third straight week where Battle has forced a Dragon takeaway, beginning with a forced fumble against Minnesota Duluth on September 26. Battle also had a critical interception in the win over Minot State.

Catching Kal...Sophomore wide receiver Kalen Lucas had a career-high 15 receptions in MSUM's win over UMary on October 10. Lucas tallied 124 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the victory as well. So far this season, Lucas leads the Dragons with 58 receptions and 663 yards. Lucas leads the NSIC and the NCAA with his 58 receptions this season. His 8.29 receptions per game clip is also tops in the country.

Fire-Breathing TFLers...Moorhead totaled five more tackles for loss in the win over UMary. Sophomore Jake Schaefer and fifth-year Denver Piechowski each had 1.5 tackles for loss each. Piechowski and Derek Tibbetts earned quarterback sacks in the victory. The Dragons have 18 total sacks this season, a number that is top 30 in the country.

Age Of Zel-Tron...Junior wide receiver Denzel Sutton had a breakout showing against UMary. Sutton made four receptions for 49 yards. This included a catch and run of 25 yards for an MSUM touchdown. The score was the first of Sutton's Dragon career.

Quick Scout...NSU will look to establish its ground game behind star back Hank Kraft. The fifth-year has already rushed for 1,065 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. On defense, linebacker Jake Adams is one of the NCAA's top tacklers, having tallied 88 total stops this season.

Steve Laqua is in his 16th season as MSUM's head football coach.
