MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Minnesota State Moorhead football has announced its schedule for the fall of 2026. The Dragons are set to play six home games and five away contests.
Moorhead will open the season with back-to-back Thursday night contests, first hosting Northern Michigan in week zero on August 27. The Dragons begin NSIC play the following week, hosting Concordia-St. Paul on September 3. MSUM will take to the road for a pair of trips to Sioux Falls, battling USF (Sep. 12) and Augustana (Sep. 19). To round out September, Moorhead will host Minnesota Duluth on Saturday, September 26.
October will see the Dragons play a road contest with Minot State (Oct. 3) before hosting the annual Battle For The Paddle with UMary on October 10. The bout with the Marauders will also serve as MSUM's Homecoming game. Following a bye week, MSUM will host Northern State on October 24 before closing the month on the road in the Battle For The Axe with Bemidji State (Oct. 31). To close out the regular season, Moorhead will travel to Jamestown (Nov. 7) before closing the year against Minnesota State on November 14.
The Dragons are coming off an 8-3 season in 2025,the highest win percentage in the Division II era of Moorhead football.
