MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Minnesota State Moorhead volleyball head coach
Kari Thompson has announced the signing of six student-athletes who will join the Dragons as freshmen in the fall of 2026.
The Dragon signees are as follows:
Brooke Gillingham, Setter (5-8, Marshall, Minn. - Marshall HS)
Prep: Played in 104 matches for Marshall High School, racking up 2,335 career assists...also logged 106 service aces, 160 kills and 668 digs...was a member of two state championship teams at Marshall as well as a runner-up squad...was a three-time MSHSL all-tournament selection, only the fifth player to accomplish that feat...was a three-time all-conference selection while earning all-state honors as a senior...played club volleyball for Kairos Elite in Sioux Falls, S.D....also competed in track & field.
Personal: Daughter of Amy and Wade Gillingham. Undecided major.
Miracle Jensen, Outside Hitter (5-10, St. Cloud, Minn. - Homeschool)
Prep: Competed at both St. Cloud Christian School and St. Cloud Tech High School in her prep career...tallied 1,246 career kills as well as 1,062 career digs...logged 81 career blocks and 137 service aces as well...was a three-year team captain while also earning four all-conference nods...was named her team MVP three consecutive seasons...earned three all-state nods, including two first team honors...holds St. Cloud Tech career records in both digs and kills...also competed in basketball and track & field.
Personal: Daughter of Elizabeth and Peter Jensen. Majoring in speech, language and hearing sciences.
Annaka Johnson, Middle Blocker (6-0, Hawley, Minn. - Hawley HS)
Prep: Played a total of 356 sets in her prep career at Hawley High School...tallied 897 career kills as well as 100 service aces and 257 total blocks...was a three-time all-conference honoree while also earning all-state honors...was a two-time state champion at Hawley while also earning two trips to the MSHSL all-tournament team...holds the Hawley school record career blocks...played club volleyball for Northern Alliance...also competed in track & field and softball.

Kya Keegan, Middle Blocker (6-3, Harrisburg, S.D. - Harrisburg HS)
Prep: Was a three-year letterwinner for Harrisburg High School, playing both middle blocker and right side hitter...played in 184 sets during her prep career, bolstering a .352 hitting percentage and 111 career blocks...was a member of the Harrisburg teams that won South Dakota state titles three consecutive seasons...played club volleyball for Kairos Elite in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Sienna Sabers, Outside Hitter/Right Side (5-9, Sioux Falls, S.D. - Sioux Falls Jefferson HS)
Prep: Was a standout hitter for Sioux Falls Jefferson High School, totaling 597 career kills, 445 digs in 52 matches played...had a career high (and single-game school record) of 30 kills in one match while also racking up a single-season school record 400 kills as a senior...also logged 324 digs as a senior...was an all-conference and all-state selection in 2025 while also being named a South Dakota Ms. Volleyball finalist...played club volleyball for both Pentagon/Sanford and Kairos Elite in Sioux Falls...also competed in basketball.

Olivia Terhune, Middle Blocker (6-0, St. Cloud, Minn. - Sartell HS)
Prep: Was a four-year starter at middle blocker for Sartell High School...tallied over 200 career blocks as well as over 600 kills...holds Sartell's career record for blocks...was an all-conference honoree for Sartell...also competed in track & field.
