MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Minnesota State Moorhead golf gets ready to compete in the final regular season tournament of the 2025-26 campaign on Monday and Tuesday. The Dragons will play 36 holes as part of the Wildcat Classic on in Wayne, America.

Last Time Out...Moorhead is fresh off a 36-hole day as part of the Augustana Spring Invite on April 6. As a team, MSUM finished in 10th place with a cumulative score of 709. The Dragons shot near identical team scored across two rounds, marking a 354 in round one and a 355 in round two. Senior
Halle Balluff led the Dragons in both rounds, shooting a 167, including an 83 in round two. True freshman
Adi Houkom was also strong all day, shooting a 173, led by a first-round 86. Playing as an individual,
Kamryn Wesloh carded a personal best round of 92 in her second 18-hole trek.
Tournament History...The Dragons competed at the Wildcat Classic last season, finishing 12th overall as a team with a 36-hole count of 709. The story of that tournament for MSUM was their 15-stroke improvement from round one to round two. After shooting a 362 on the first day at Wayne Country Club, Moorhead would whittle its score down to 347 on day two. Balluff led the Dragons individually, carding a 36-hole score of 168.
By The Numbers...Balluff leads the Dragons in overall stroke average, holding an 83.9 mark through six tournaments played. Balluff tied the school record for an 18-hole low round earlier this season (74). Sophomore
Aspen Beyer is second on the roster with a stroke average of 90.1 and a low round of 81. Junior
Regan Braun holds a 91.8 average while also setting a personal best low round earlier this season (86). Houkom is just behind Braun with an even 92 stroke average.
The Course...Wayne Country Club spans a total yardage of 6,083 with a slightly longer back nine. The front nine features a yardage of 2,915 while the back nine stretches 3,168 yards. Wayne Country Club is a par-72 course that features four par-threes, 10 par-fours and four par-five holes. The longest hole on the course is the par-five 13th, which spans 518 yards. The shortest hole is the par-three third, which stretches just 150 yards.
