MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Minnesota State Moorhead volleyball is set to take on three NSIC matches this week. The Dragons host Minnesota Duluth on Tuesday at 6 p.m. before hitting the road for conference meetings with St. Cloud State and Minnesota State on Friday and Saturday. 

Live video and stats will be available at msumdragons.com. Moorhead is coming off a split week of results in NSIC play, defeating Minnesota Crookston on Thursday before falling to Bemidji State on Saturday. 

Matchup History...Minnesota Duluth has commanded the last 10 matches with the Dragons dating back to the 2018 season. Moorhead's last win over the Bulldogs came at home on October 15, 2017 in a five-set thriller. That victory is also the last time a Dragon outfit upended a nationally-ranked opponent as the Bulldogs entered that match ranked fourth in the country. Prior to the 2017 win, MSUM had not defeated Minnesota Duluth since November 6, 2010. St. Cloud State holds an eight-match winning streak over the Dragons. MSUM last defeated the Huskies on September 22, 2018. However, since the 2009 season, the Dragons and Huskies have evenly split 22 matches. Minnesota State holds the most recent victory in the series with MSUM, but the squads have split the last two meetings overall. The Dragons defeated the Mavericks on October 5, 2024, snapping a 10-match losing streak. 

Matching A Benchmark...Senior Raiah Mandell continued to look strong on the offensive side of the net for Moorhead last week. Mandell tallied 30 total kills (3.3 kills/set), including 18 against Bemidji State on Saturday. The tally matches Mandell's career high in kills and also moved her to the team lead in the category this season (159). Mandell also was efficient at the net, holding a .287 hitting percentage across MSUM's two matches. 

Martini Tabs Another...Senior outside hitter Maci Martini logged her eighth double-double of the season against Bemidji State. Martini spiked 11 kills to go along with 11 digs in the Dragon loss. Martini is second on the team in total kills (149) while also leading MSUM in total digs (210). In her career, Martini has 16 double-double performances. 

Colby Piling Them Up..Senior setter Madi Colby amassed 1,000 career assists during MSUM's non-conference surge. Colby enters this weekend having dished out 1122 career assists in her MSUM career, including a team-high 290 in 2026. Currently, Colby sits in 10th place all-time in program history for assists after logging 56 more last weekend. This included a new career-high of 36 assists against Bemidji State on Saturday. 

Pfeifer's On Fire...Middle blocker Mya Pfeifer turned another effective week of work for MSUM across a pair of matches. Pfeifer was downright lethal in MSUM's four-set victory over Minnesota Crookston on Thursday, slamming eight kills with five total blocks. The Moorhead product finished the match with an eye-popping .800 hit percentage on 10 total attacks. Against Bemidji State on Saturday, Pfeifer tallied eight more kills at a .500 hitting clip.
