Biography

2011-12: Finished 5-12 on the season...earned decision win against SMSU...finished sixth at the Cobber Open...finished 2-1 at Bison Open.

2010-11:  Went 2-2 in the 174 pound division as a freshman...finished 8-7 in the 184 pound division...1-2 record while losing to fellow Dragon and eventual third place winner Jon Swart in the Dragon Open.

Prep: Graduate of Litchfield High School...four-time letterwinner in wrestling and twice for football...wrestled between 171 and 215 pounds during high school...three-time All-Wright County Conference selection...two-time Minnesota state tournament participant...placed third at 189 pounds in 2010.

Personal: Undeclared major...son of Randy and Kim Kalkbrenner.
