Biography
Career highlights: One of the most decorated track and field athletes in school history...holds nine school records...four-time NSIC high point scorer...11-time conference champion...holds two NSIC meet records...2011 NSIC Indoor Track Athlete of the Year...2011 Outdoor Regional Track Athlete of the Year...three-time All-American.
2012: Earned all-region status in seven events outdoors after earning six honors indoors..qualified for national meet in 400 meters and as part of 4 x 400 relay team...earned conference titles in 100 meters, triple jump and as part of 4 x 100 relay team at NSIC Outdoor Championships...finished with five all-NSIC honors overall outdoors, including second-place finishes in the 200 meters and long jump to earn High Point Scorer honors...named to NSIC All-Academic team for spring season...also had outstanding showing at NSIC Indoor Championships, winning long jump and triple jump events...placed second in the 200-meter dash as well, giving him three All-NSIC honors indoors...competed at NCAA Division II Indoor Championships and placed seventh as part of 4 x 400 relay, earning All-American honors.
2011: Earned All-American status as part of 4 x 100 relay team that finished seventh at NSIC Outdoor Championships...was NSIC High Point Performer of the Year, helping the Dragon men to NSIC Outdoor Championships...won the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash, while being a member of the first place 4x100 relay squad...also finished second in the triple jump and sixth in the long jump...in the 100, ran his fastest time of the season of 10.38 seconds, one-thousandth of a second shy of the NSIC record...was named the NSIC Indoor Track Athlete of the Year and was the highest point scorer by any NSIC athlete after winning 200 meters, long jump and 60 meters at the event in helping Dragon men to indoor title.
2010: Three all-NSIC honors outdoors, including second-place finishes in long jump and 100 meters.
Prep: Two-time state champion...lettered in football, basketball and track.
