Biography
2013: Sat out as a redshirt.
2012: Earned all-region honors in hammer throw...finished fourth in the hammer throw at NSIC Outdoor Championships...won the event three times outdoors, at Ron Masanz Invitational, at Al Cassell Relays and at Carleton Alumni Open...also won discus throw at UMM Invite...won weight throw at Beaver Invite (indoors).
2011: Finished 11th in hammer and discus throw at NSIC Outdoor Championships...won hammer throw twice during the regular season...was second in Cobber Open (indoors).
2010: Provided depth in throwing events for Dragons.
Prep: MVP of throws...state participant...captain three times in track and gymnastics...three-year letterwinner in track and five-year letterwinner in gymnastics.
Personal: Son of Paul and Ginny Stier...early childhood education major...born April 3, 1991.
