Relocated at safety during spring practice, made spirited bid for starting role. . . Redshirted last fall following surgery to correct back injury. . . Shelved with back problems after eight games in 2007. . . Lettered at MSUM in 2007 as a freshman, caught 11 passes for 118 yards including a long of 26 yards. . . Redshirted at State in 2006. . . Voted Central Minnesota Conference Receiver of the Year in 2005. . . Caught 26 passes for 399 yards and three touchdowns, rushed for 785 yards on 101 carries with three TDs. . . Three-year football starter at Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted, named offensive MVP as a junior and senior. . . Two-time All-CMC selection, named to all-area team as well. . .
