Appeared in all 11 games as a sophomore, credited with 38 tackles, including 17 unassisted tackles, eight tackles for loss and 2.5 quarterback sacks. . . Football and track letterman at Service High School, football captain as a junior and senior. . . Presented Coaches’ Award in football for two years, second team All-Cook Inlet Conference football selection as a senior. . . Older brother Josh competed in football at MSU Moorhead. . .
