Biography

2009: Racked up 362 kills for a team high, averaging 3.12 per set…was third on team in blocks with nine solo and 81 block assists…contributed 37 assists…NSIC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 8 after she hit an outstanding .468 in four matches at the Comfort INNvitational where she was named to the All-Tournament team while aiding the team in taking the tournament title…in the tournament she had 50 kills averaging 3.85 per set and also picked up eight blocks…All-Academic NSIC team member…All-Region honorable mention…selected to the first team All-NSIC team.

2008: Saluted with first team All-NSIC honors…two-year fixture on the frontline...Finished second on the club with 2.83 kpg as a sophomore with a hitting percentage of .267, ranked third with 0.83 blocks a game...logged single match attack percentage best of .667 (15-1-21) against Minnesota, Crookston...delivered 20 kills in five-game sets against Nebraska, Omaha, Wayne State and Southwest Minnesota State, and 17 in three games against Northern State...had eight kills in a club high 48 attempts against SMSU.

2007:
Debuted in style as a freshman before knee injury sent her to drydock after 81 sets...ranked second on the club with 3.09 kills per game and third with 1.22 blocks as a freshman, built .519 hitting percentage (15-1-27) against Chadron State and reached season high with 21 kills against Dickinson State...credited with 23.5 points in five-game set with Dickinson State...named to All-NSIC Academic team.

Prep: Collected batch of prep laurels at Minnewaska High School…four-time MVP and four-time all-conference pick...elected captain of the Lakers as a junior and senior...third team all-state and all-area pick, first team Academic All-State selection in 2006... earned All-Conference and Most Valuable Player honors in softball...member of Women’s Jazz Choir, band and National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Douglas and Teresa Tvrdvik…Exercise Science major, minor in Psychology…Dean’s List member for 3 semesters.
