Received All-American prep recognition during sophomore and junior years, her high school team won state title three years in a row. . . . At the Colorado high school state meet she was 5th her freshman year and 4th the final three years in the 100 backstroke at Colorado State High School Championships, also member of 200 freestyle relay team which set a Colorado State record and won the event. . . Took year off from swimming after graduation and before returning to swimming last year at Metro State in Denver. . . Social Studies major. . .
