2012: Surpassed 2,000 career digs against Augustana College to place herself second all-time at MSUM…recorded 694 digs, 57 assists and 23 serve aces on the season...earned NSIC Defensive Player of the Week seven times...led the NSIC in digs for a second consecutive season...ranked eighth in Division II in digs per set with 5.91...earned Daktronics First-Team All-American and American Volleyball Coaches Association Central Region honorable mention honors...named to Daktronics Central Region First Team and the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.
2011: Played in all 27 matches as a junior…led the team with 567 digs, averaging 6.03 per game…led the NSIC in digs…earned NSIC Defensive Player of the Week five times throughout the season...named to the All-NSIC Honorable Mention team...named academic all-conference.
2010: The team’s starting libero…played in 104 sets…led the team by contributing 447 digs and 18 ace serves…had 22 games in double digits for digs, 8 of those games had 20 plus digs.
2009: Stepped into the libero position early in the season…led the team in digs…had 456 digs on the season (3.9 per set)…played in 117 sets.
Prep: Three-time All-Conference selection at Ada-Borup High School...Minnesota All-State selection as a senior…saluted as team and conference MVP...helped Cougars to a third place finish at the 2008 Minnesota State High School Championships…named to the All-State All-Tournament team...named to Minnesota All-State Academic team...served as basketball and track captain.
Personal: Daughter of Erik and Tammy Ness…double major in Secondary Math and Elementary Education…Dean’s list fall 2009 and spring 2010…Special Honor’s Award fall 2009.
