Biography
2024-25: Played in 20 games for the Dragons with 11 starts on the season...worked back from a serious injury midway through the season to contribute late in the season...was named the NSIC Bob Olson Outstanding Senior of the Year Award winner...earned the NSIC Elite 18 Award for the fourth consecutive year, the first student-athlete (any sport) to win the award four straight years...had 12 showings of double figure scoring during the year with a season-best effort of 33 points against St. Cloud State on December 13...had six showings of 20 points or more throughout the year as well...wraps his career with the sixth-most points in program history (1,693), second-most steals (155), sixth-most assists (286) and third most three-point field goals made (243)...NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence...Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction Award winner.
2023-24: NABC All-District Second Team (Central) and All-NSIC First Team after playing and starting in all 31 games for MSUM during the year...averaged a team-high 16.5 points per game to go along with 2.4 rebounds per contest...also led the Dragons in total assists (86) during the year and collected 35 steals on defense...shot 34.6 percent from the floor on the year with an 83.4 success rate from the charity stripe, which finished in the top ten in the conference...scored his 1,000th career point on November 18 against Black Hills State...finished the year with 1,434 career points which is the 11th-most in program history entering his final year of eligibility...scored in double figures 23 times during the year including nine games of 20 points or more and two games of 30 points or more...scored a season-best 35 points against Northern Michigan on November 25...was named the NSIC's Elite 18 Award winner for the third straight season, becoming the first men's basketball student-athlete in NSIC history to accomplish that milestone...NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence...CSC Academic All-District selection...CSC First Team Academic All-America for the second straight season.Â
2022-23: Named to the All-NSIC First Team following a season where he averaged a team-best 17.5 points per game at a 40.3 percent shooting clip...scored 561 total points including 94 three-pointers, the fourth-highest total in program history...scored 20 or more points 12 different times throughout the season including back-to-back 30+ point performances against Sioux Falls (36) and Concordia St. Paul (31)..NSIC All-Tournament team and Tournament MVP...NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence...NSIC Elite 18 Award Winner for men's basketball for the second consecutive season...CSC Academic All-District selection...CSC First Team Academic All-American for his efforts in the classroom.
2021-22: Played in 29 and started five games, helped Dragon men to first-ever NSIC tournament title and second straight NCAA tournament… averaged 17.7 minutes per game… averaged 7.7 points per game on 36 percent shooting… averaged 1.7 rebounds per game and 1.8 assists per game… averaged a team-high 1.4 steals per game…named to NSIC All-Academic Team.
2020-21: Played in all 16 games… averaged 19.3 minutes per game… averaged 8.6 points per game on 47 percent shooting (42-of-89) … averaged 1.3 assists, 1.7 rebounds, and 1 steal a game… dropped a career and season high 22 points against Minnesota Crookston on 1/8/21… made a season-high eight free throws in a season-high against Bemidji State on 1/15/21.
2019-20: Sat out as a redshirt.
Prep: All-time leading scorer at Wayzata High School...a three-time all-conference selection and a two-time team captain...has been part of two state tournament teams...averaged 19.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 3.0 assists per game as a junior.Â
