Biography
2020: NSIC Champion in 3K with time of 8:32.71 to earn All-NSIC honors at indoor championships (2/28/20)...also All-NSIC in 5K with runner-up finish in 14:39.43...set school record in 5K in 14:18.00 at Mel Tjeerdsma Classic (12/7/19)...had three wins in the 3K during indoor season...outdoor competition canceled because of COVID-19.
2019: NSIC Outdoor Champion in 5,000 meters (5/10/11) with a time of 14:44.20 to earn All-NSIC honors in that event...also All-NSIC in 10,000 meters with runner-up finished (30:42.56)...won the 5,000 at UND Indoor Open (1/25/19) in 15:10.07...set new 10,000 meter school record outdoors at Mt. SAC Relays at 29:58.44.
2018: Redshirted both indoors and outdoors.
2017: Competed in the 800M, 1,500M, Mile, 3,000M, 5,000M, and the 10,000M… won the 5,000M at the Masanz Invite…recorded an eight place finish at the NSIC Outdoor Championships in the 10,000M.
Prep: A four-time state qualifier at Willmar High School. He is a four-time all-conference selection and a two-time all-state honoree...has career best times of 15:40 in the 5K, 9:47 in the 3,200, 4:37 in the 1,600, 2:04 in the 800 and 58 seconds in the 400.
