2010: At defensive back, he recorded three tackles, one solo… he was a part of the Dragons defense that ranked tenth in the conference in red zone defense.

2009: Letter winner playing outside linebacker at MSUM…recorded 32 tackles, 20 solo, three tackles for a loss and one sack.

2008: Listed as starting outside linebacker as redshirt freshman…showed brilliance as a freshman recording 28 tackles, an even mix of 14 solo and 14 assisted tackles, five tackles for a loss, two pass breakups, one sack and one fumble recovery.

2007: Redshirt.

Prep: Three-time letter winner in football and baseball…2007 graduate from Moorhead High School…played running back and linebacker under Head Coach Rick Eidsness.

Personal: Son of Greg and Kim Werlinger…born March 8, 1989…majoring in Photojournalism…member of speech and key club…volunteered in mission trip youth works, built homes in Tijuana, flood sandbagging and Salvation Army bell ringer…National Forensics League qualifier two years and two-time speech section champion…started his own photography company.
