Prep: Was an all-conference cross country runner for Champlin Park High School while also serving as a two-year captain...holds personal bests of 16:29 in the 5k, 4:24 in the mile and 1:59 in the 800m...earned all-conference track & field nods in the 800m and 4x800m...is a member of the Champlin 4x800m team that holds the school record as well.

Personal: Son of Aubrey and Pedro Martinez. Majoring in exercise science.
